A craft becomes a design language.
Aleyra Threadworks is a design project by Aleyra Can, translating Turkish Oya into a contemporary system of objects, instruction and participation.
From material research to three objects.
Rather than presenting Oya as decorative nostalgia, the project looks at what the hands actually learn: tension, repetition, sequence, color and motif construction.
The collection is deliberately limited to three kits. Each one represents a different behavior of thread and a different path into making.
Products are organized by what the hands learn.
Small toolsets, clear materials and no decorative filler.
Object, tutorial and workshop belong to one experience.

Threadworks sits alongside Aleyradesign as a focused craft and product project. The visual identity stays related to the designer portfolio while functioning as its own product brand.
